Cream Puff and Eclair Shells
Cream Puff And Eclair Shells is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. boiling water, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour and 4 eggs, unbeaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Melt butter in water in saucepan and bring to a boil and then lower heat.
Add salt and flour, all at once, stirring rapidly. Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture leaves side of pan and gathers around spoon.
Remove from heat.
Add 1 egg at a time, beating thoroughly after each.
Continue beating until smooth and glossy and break off when spoon is raised.
