Cream of Abalone Soup

Boil potatoes in clam juice.
Saute onions and celery in butter until golden brown.
Add abalone and continue to cook. Gradually add flour, stirring constantly, until smooth, then add 1 plus quart milk slowly and continue to stir until well blended. Season to taste with m.s.g., salt, pepper, Worcestershire, Tabasco and clam juice.
