Chocolate Meringue Torte
Chocolate Meringue Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 egg whites, 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 c. sugar, 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels and 1/4 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Grease baking sheets and dust lightly with flour.
On the floured surface, draw four circles, 7 1/2 inches in diameter.
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy and doubled in volume. Gradually beat in sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, until meringue is stiff and all sugar is dissolved.
