Chocolate Meringue Pie
Chocolate Meringue Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. cocoa, 1 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Add milk slowly, stirring and stir constantly until mixture and is thickened.
Stir in beaten egg yolks, one at a time.
Cook, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes longer.
Remove heat; stir in margarine and vanilla.
Cool slightly.
Into shell. Beat egg white until foamy throughout. Add sugar.
Continue until meringue will stand in stiff peaks.
Pile lightly on pie filling. Bake in oven at 425Β° until light brown.
