Chicken Marsala
Chicken Marsala is an impressive dinner. Made with 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, 1 egg, beaten, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 c. flour and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Flatten chicken pieces to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Combine egg and milk in shallow bowl.
Combine flour, seasonings and herbs on a plate.
Dip each piece into egg mixture, then into flour mixture to coat all sides. Allow to rest briefly while preparing remainder of ingredients.
Over medium high heat, melt oil and butter in heavy skillet.
Brown the chicken pieces on both sides and remove to an ovenproof platter.
Place in a 200Β° oven to keep warm.
