Chicken Cordon Bleu
Chicken Cordon Bleu is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, 2 slices swiss cheese, halved, 2 slices ham, halved, 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs and 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Place each chicken breast on waxed paper.
Carefully flatten chicken by using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place 1/2 slice of ham and cheese on each chicken breast, tuck in sides and roll up jelly roll fashion.
Secure with toothpicks.
Beat egg and water together.
Combine bread crumbs, flour and Parmesan cheese.
Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture and then coat with bread crumb mixture.
Brown chicken in hot cooking oil.
Drain.
Reserve pan drippings for Creamy Sauce.
