Cajun Dove Recipe
Cajun Dove Recipe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 or 2 doves, salt and pepper, vegetable oil, water and juice of 1 lemon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Dry dove with paper towel and rub with salt and pepper.
Heat 2 to 4 tablespoons oil (depending on number of doves) in pot and saute slowly until light brown.
Add 2 to 3 cups water; cover with a tight lid and simmer until tender.
Then add juice of 1 lemon, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, 1 pod of hot pepper and large lump of butter.
Simmer another 15 minutes.
Serve on toast.
