Cabbage Au Gratin
Cabbage Au Gratin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 head cabbage, coarsely chopped, 4 tbsp. butter, 4 tbsp. flour, 1 1/2 c. milk and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook cabbage until tender. Drain well. In a saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, milk and salt, stirring until thickened.
Add cabbage and Cheddar cheese.
Pour into a buttered casserole and top with the crumbs which have been mixed with the melted butter. Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes or until slightly browned on top.
