Boil-Bake Country Ham
Boil-Bake Country Ham is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 country ham, water to cover, 1 c. vinegar, 1 c. dark brown sugar and whole cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Before serving, in large roaster or stock pot, soak ham overnight in enough cold water to cover.
In the morning remove ham, place in sink and scrub with a brush under running water cleaned of any cleaning debris. Wash roaster, and cover it with water.
Add vinegar and 1 cup of brown sugar to ham water and bring boil, immediately reducing heat to low.
Simmer 20 minutes pound for older ham, 15 to 18 minutes for quick-aged until the small bone in hock can be pulled out with the fingers.
Let cool in cooking water overnight.
