Basic Pizza Dough
Basic Pizza Dough is an easy dinner. Made with 3 to 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 pkg. fleischmann's rapidrise yeast, 3/4 tsp. salt, 1 c. very warm water and 2 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, undissolved yeast and salt.
Stir very warm water and oil into dry ingredients.
Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.
Knead dough on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 4 to 6 minutes. Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
On lightly floured surface, form dough into smooth ball.
Divide and shape as directed in recipe.
