Baked Scallops
Baked Scallops is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. scallops, 1 c. white wine (chablis is best), 3 tbsp. butter, 1/4 lb. mozzarella cheese, coarsely grated and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Clean and drain scallops.
On stove, melt butter in baking dish or pan on a low temperature.
Add scallops, salt, pepper and parsley.
Saute 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in wine.
Sprinkle cheese over the top of the mixture.
Bake in 300Β° oven for about 20 minutes or until bubbly.
Broil 1 to 2 minutes to brown the cheese.
Serve hot.
