Whole Wheat Pizza Crust
Whole Wheat Pizza Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour, 1/2 c. wheat germ, 1 pkg. yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix all dry ingredients except all-purpose flour.
Mix well and add warm water (120° to 130°).
Add oil.
Knead dough until mixed and add all-purpose flour as needed to stiffen it.
Let rest 15 minutes.
Divide into 2 balls and roll them out to pizza pan size.
Put on greased pizza pans and bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
Add pizza sauce and remaining topping or bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes.
