Venison Meat Loaf
Venison Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground lean venison, 1/4 lb. ground pork shoulder, 1/2 c. bread crumbs (season with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley and parmesan cheese to taste), 1 egg and 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced thin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine ground venison and pork shoulder.
Add seasoned bread crumbs and egg.
Mix thoroughly.
Add remaining ingredients, except bacon slices.
Mix thoroughly and pat into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Spread bacon slices over top.
Bake at 350Β° until done, about 1 hour.
Serves 6.
