Tarragon Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 c. half and half, 2 tsp. dry vermouth and 1/2 tsp. dried whole tarragon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat; add cornstarch, stirring until smooth.
Cook one minute.
Remove from heat and gradually stir in half and half until smooth.
Return to heat; stir constantly and bring to a boil.
