Sweet and Sour Ribs

Place ribs in baking pan.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350Β°. Combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan; stir in ketchup, water and vinegar.
Bring to a boil; cook until thick and clear.
Remove ribs from pan; discard fat.
Place ribs back into pan.
Pour 1 1/2 cups of sauce over ribs.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Turn oven off. Pour rest of sauce over ribs.
Let ribs stand 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.
