Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 3 1/2 c. flour and 4 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix flour, baking powder and salt together in a small bowl; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat sugar into softened butter until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, and mix in thoroughly. Blend in vanilla and lemon extracts.
Slowly mix in dry ingredients until dough is well blended.
(If you find it difficult to mix the dough to a consistency that will be easy to roll, scrape the dough into a plastic bag and knead it until it is more pliable.)
Roll our dough about one-fourth of the dough at a time.
Roll the dough to the thickness you prefer, usually 1/4 inch or less.
Cut the dough with cookie cutter.
Bake at 350Β° for about 10 minutes.
