Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed Mushrooms is an easy dinner. Made with 8 large mushrooms (1/2 lb.), 1/3 c. finely chopped green onion, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, 2 tbsp. dried bread crumbs and 1/2 tbsp. dried parsley flakes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Clean mushrooms, remove and chop stems.
Reserve mushroom caps and 1/3 cup chopped stems.
Place reserved chopped mushroom stems, green onion and butter in a 1-quart microwavable casserole.
Cook uncovered 3 to 4 minutes at power level 10 or until onion is tender.
Stir twice.
Stir in bread crumbs and parsley flakes. Stuff each mushroom with bread mixture.
Arrange mushrooms in a circle on paper towel-lined paper plate.
Cover with wax paper and cook at power level 10 until hot.
