Spicy Chicken with Beans
Spicy Chicken With Beans is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground raw chicken, 1 c. chopped onion, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1 tbsp. cooking oil and 1 tsp. ground cumin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In large saucepan, cook chicken, onions and garlic in hot oil over medium heat, 8 to 10 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink and onion is tender.
Drain fat.
Add cumin, salt and pepper; cook and stir for 1 minute more.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce and, if desired, jalapeño peppers.
Bring to boil. Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add black beans and Great Northern beans; heat through.
