Spiced Pecans
Spiced Pecans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites, 2 tsp. cold water, 1 lb. pecan halves, 1 c. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Beat egg whites and water until frothy, but not stiff.
Add pecans and mix well until all nuts are coated.
Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon in separate bowl.
Add to nuts and mix thoroughly. Place in buttered shallow pan, about 10 x 15-inch.
Bake at 225Β° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Spread on aluminum foil to cool.
Separate with spoon if nuts are too clustered.
