Sourdough Biscuits
Sourdough Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 c. buttermilk and 1 c. sourdough starter (to follow), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and sugar together in a bowl.
Cut in butter until mixture looks like cornmeal.
Add buttermilk and sourdough starter.
Add flour until forms a soft dough.
Turn dough onto floured board and knead gently, about 1 minute.
Roll out into 1/4 to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a biscuit cutter.
Let rise in a warm place for 1/2 hour. Bake at 425Β° for 12 minutes or until brown.
Brush with butter before baking.
