Shrimp-Artichoke Casserole
Shrimp-Artichoke Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (no. 2) can artichoke hearts, 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, 3 tbsp. flour, 1 1/2 c. milk and 1/4 c. sherry, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Arrange artichoke hearts in greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Slice mushrooms; saute sliced mushrooms in 2 tablespoons margarine for 6 minutes.
Spread shrimp over artichokes.
Add mushrooms to baking dish.
Melt 3 tablespoons margarine in saucepan over low heat.
Blend in flour and salt.
Add milk all at once.
Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat.
Mix Worcestershire sauce with sherry and white sauce; pour into baking dish.
Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese and paprika.
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes in a 375Β° oven.
Garnish with parsley.
