Sesame Pralines
Sesame Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. sesame seed, 1 c. dark brown sugar, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. cream and 2 tbsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Toast sesame seed in 350° oven for 15 minutes.
In 3-quart saucepan, combine both sugars and cream.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until dissolved.
Wash crystals from sides of pan.
Cook to 230° on candy thermometer.
Add butter, pecans and sesame seed. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, to 234° (soft ball stage).
Remove from heat.
Cool 2 to 3 minutes, then stir until thickened.
Working fast, drop from spoon onto buttered waxed paper.
