Scandinavian Meatballs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. ground turkey mix, 1 tbsp. chopped fresh dill or 1 tsp. dry dill weed, 1/4 c. butter or margarine (1/2 stick), 1/4 c. all-purpose flour and 1 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine ground turkey mix and dill weed in large bowl until blended.
Shape into meatballs.
Brown meatballs in the butter or margarine, part at a time.
Transfer meatballs into casserole dish.
Sprinkle flour over the pan drippings and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture bubbles.
Stir in milk, water and instant chicken broth.
Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
Stir in 2 tablespoons dill weed.
Pour sauce over meatballs.
