Scandinavian Fish Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Rinse salt cod and place in bowl.
Cover with water and refrigerate 24 hours.
Remove salt cod from water.
Pat dry.
Cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
Place in slow cooker with remaining ingredients.
Cook on simmer setting for 6 hours.
Be sure to serve hot biscuits or crusty bread to dredge up the liquid and baked apples for dessert.
