Scalloped Potatoes
Scalloped Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 to 8 potatoes, washed and sliced thin (skin on), 1/2 c. butter, 1/2 c. flour, 8 to 10 mushrooms, sliced thin and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Wash potatoes thoroughly and slice thin.
Layer potatoes along bottom of greased baking dish.
Layer thin slices of butter and mushrooms (cheese, if desired) with sprinkles of flour, salt and pepper, about 3/4 up the pan.
Top layer should be potatoes.
Dot top with butter.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs and Cheddar, if desired.
Bake for about 1 1/2 hours in 350Β° oven.
