Scalloped Mushrooms
Scalloped Mushrooms is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. fresh sliced mushrooms, 2 c. bread crumbs, 1/4 c. melted butter, salt and pepper and 1/3 c. dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Place 1/3 mushrooms in a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Cover with 1/3 of the bread crumbs; drizzle 1/3 of melted butter over top.
Repeat with 1/3 of the same ingredients; add salt and pepper and end with a layer of mushrooms.
Sprinkle salt and pepper and pour wine all over.
Cover and bake 25 minutes at 325Β°. Just before serving, mix remaining butter and crumbs; spoon over mushrooms.
Bake an additional 10 minutes, uncovered.
