Sauteed Sesame Fish
Sauteed Sesame Fish is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 4 tile fish steaks and 2/3 c. dried bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a bowl, combine the flour, salt and pepper.
Dredge the fish lightly in the seasoned flour.
In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs and sesame seed.
In another shallow bowl, beat the egg with the milk until blended.
Dip the fish into the egg mixture, then into the bread crumb mixture, turning to coat the fish completely.
In a large skillet, melt the butter in the oil over medium-high heat.
When the butter and oil are hot but not smoking, add the fish steaks and cook them until brown, about 5 minutes on each side.
Serve fish hot with lemon wedges and parsley sprigs.
