Sausage 'n Sauerkraut
Sausage 'N Sauerkraut is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. fresh polish sausage, 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained, 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up with liquid, 1 c. chopped celery and 1 large onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut sausage into 1-inch slices and saute in a Dutch oven until fully cooked and brown.
Drain.
Add sauerkraut, tomatoes with liquid, celery, onion, green pepper, brown sugar and seasonings. Mix well.
Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Remove bay leaf.
Serve over mashed potatoes if desired.
