Sausage Bean Supper
Sausage Bean Supper is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. dried lima beans, 3 c. water, 1 lb. pork sausage, 1/2 c. chopped onion and 1/2 c. chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Sort and wash lima beans.
Put in a large saucepan with 3 cups water.
Bring to a boil.
Cook 2 minutes.
Remove from heat, cover and let soak 1 hour.
Place beans over medium heat until tender. Add more water if necessary.
Combine sausage, onion, celery and green pepper in a large skillet.
Cook until sausage is brown. Stir into crumbles; drain.
Add seasoning.
Stir well.
Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
