Potatoes Au Gratin
Potatoes Au Gratin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. margarine, 2 tbsp. flour, 1 1/2 c. milk, 1/4 c. grated cheese and 1 1/2 lb. potatoes, sliced and boiled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Rub a 1 1/2-quart baking dish with butter.
Melt 2 tablespoons margarine; blend in flour and milk gradually.
Simmer, stirring, over low heat for 3 minutes.
Add salt and grated cheese and continue to heat until cheese is melted. Arrange potatoes in baking dish; pour cheese sauce over them and top with crumbs, which are mixed with remaining 1 tablespoon of margarine.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crumbs brown.
