Pigs in a Blanket
Pigs In A Blanket is an moderately easy dinner. Made with round steak, bacon slice, prepared mustard, flour and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Trim outside skin off round steak and cut into serving-size pieces (6 or 7).
Spread each piece with mustard.
Lay a piece of bacon on each piece.
Roll up, secure with toothpicks or string. Roll in flour.
Fry in grease until brown.
Remove meat, pour off all grease but leave browned particles in pan.
Put meat back in, add water just to cover.
Stir and simmer slowly, covered, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Add more water, if necessary, to keep from sticking to pan.
