Petite Cream Puffs(About 60)
Petite Cream Puffs(About 60) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. flour, 4 eggs and dash of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In saucepan, melt butter in boiling water and salt.
Add the flour all at one time.
Remove from heat.
Beat the mixture by hand, vigorously.
Add to the mixture, 1 egg at a time, beating vigorously each time, until all eggs are done.
Drop by tiny teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450Β° or until golden.
This makes a lot.
You can fill the puffs with a variety of fillings.
My favorite is chicken salad.
Can fill with puddings, ham salad, tuna salad, etc.
These can be prepared and frozen (unfilled).
