Peperoni Alle Acciughe(Pepper with Anchovies)
Peperoni Alle Acciughe(Pepper With Anchovies) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 anchovy fillets, preserved in salt, 3 bell peppers (capsicums), a combinateion of yellow and red, 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh oregano, 1 garlic clove, very thinly sliced and 1 tbsp. capers, drained and finely chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Wash anchovy fillets under running water for several minutes to rid them of their salt.
Bone them and cut into small pieces. Wash, dry and halve the peppers; remove ribs and seeds.
Bake in a preheated 400Β° oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Cut into strips.
Place peppers on a serving dish and sprinkle with oregano, garlic, capers and anchovies.
Season with salt to taste.
Drizzle with oil.
