Peanut Butter Pie
Peanut Butter Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3 egg yolks, pinch of salt, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine 1 cup sugar and flour; add a little milk to make a paste.
Add rest of milk, egg yolks and salt.
Stir while cooking until thick.
Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.
Mix peanut butter with enough powdered sugar to make a crumbly mixture.
Put in bottom of baked pie shell.
(Save a little to sprinkle on meringue.)
Pour filling in crust; top with meringue, made by beating egg whites and gradually adding 6 tablespoons sugar, beating until stiff.
Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top and brown in a 400Β° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
