Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. boiling water, 2 to 4 c. raw peanuts and 1 tbsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Grease a large cookie sheet with butter.
Cook sugar, syrup and water until a soft ball forms (236°).
Add peanuts and cook until amber colored (294°).
Remove from stove and add vanilla and soda.
Stir for 30 to 45 seconds, briskly.
Pour onto cookie sheet and spread out quickly to about 1 peanut thickness.
Once cooled, run a flat knife under it to loosen and turn onto a brown paper bag.
Wipe excess grease from surface.
When completely cooled, break into pieces.
