Oyster Soup
Oyster Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 bunch green onions, chopped, 1 stick butter, 1/2 c. celery, diced, 3 toes garlic, minced fine and 2 bay leaves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Melt butter in large pot and add green onions, celery and garlic.
Cook until clear.
Add oysters and cook until ends curl (about 10 minutes).
Add bay leaves, thyme and parsley and stir. Add milk, cayenne pepper and, if needed, salt (oysters may be salty).
Bring to a slow boil and turn off immediately.
