Oven Baked Rice
Oven Baked Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 cube butter, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper and 1 c. mushrooms or water chestnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Saute onion, celery, green pepper and mushrooms or water chestnuts in butter.
Combine and bring almost to a boil the bouillon and water.
Combine vegetables and broth; pour over uncooked rice in casserole.
Submerge rice completely.
Bake, uncovered, for 40 to 45 minutes at 350Β° or until done.
Stir occasionally.
Add broth during baking if necessary.
