Onion Soup
Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced onions, 3 tbsp. butter, 6 c. beef or chicken broth, 1/4 tsp. black pepper and 6 slices toasted french bread, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Saute onions until very well browned, but not scorched in butter; add chicken or beef broth and pepper.
Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
The soup is now put into a casserole. Cover with toasted French bread and sprinkle with cheese.
Heat in a 275Β° oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
