Old World Style Beef Stew
Old World Style Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. bacon, diced, 3 lb. beef, cut into cubes, 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce and 1/2 c. tomato purée, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook bacon until half done; drain excess fat.
Saute onions with bacon until transparent.
Add beef and saute until all red is gone.
Add minced garlic and flour until all flour is absorbed. Add remaining ingredients.
Stir and bring to a boil.
Mix well, being careful that nothing sticks to bottom of pan.
Reduce heat and let simmer 45 to 60 minutes until meat is tender or bake in 350° oven for 1 hour until meat is tender.
