No-Weep Meringue
No-Weep Meringue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 egg whites, 1 tbsp. cold water, 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 6 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix cornstarch with cold water in small saucepan.
Add boiling water; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and cool.
Beat egg whites to soft peaks.
Add cornstarch mixture, beating until stiff.
Add sugar slowly, one tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition.
Continue beating until stiff. Beat in vanilla.
Spread meringue on pie.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Turn off oven heat.
Open door.
Let pie cool in the oven.
