Monti's Roman Bread

Add sugar and yeast to lukewarm water; stir to dissolve yeast. Add flour, 2 teaspoons salt and onion.
Knead until smooth. Place dough in an oiled bowl and let rise until doubled in size. Punch dough down.
Flatten the dough on oiled cookie sheet to about one inch thick.
Oil the top of the dough.
Let it rise until doubled in size.
Sprinkle with salt and dried rosemary. Bake at 400Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve hot.
