Molasses Oat Bread
Molasses Oat Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 to 6 c. flour, 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1 tbsp. salt, 1/4 c. molasses and 2 tbsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine 2 cups of flour, yeast and salt in large bowl.
Stir well to blend.
Add molasses and butter.
Add hot tap water.
Beat with electric mixer at medium for 2 minutes.
Add 1 more cup of flour.
Beat at high speed for 1 minute or until dough is thick and elastic.
Stir in oats.
Gradually stir in just enough flour to make soft dough.
Turn onto floured board.
Knead 5 to 10 minutes.
Cover with plastic wrap or towel.
Let sit 20 minutes on board.
Punch down and divide in half.
Shape into loaves; let rise.
Bake at 375Β° for 35 to 45 minutes.
Can refrigerate dough from 2 to 24 hours.
