Microwave Cod Fillets
Microwave Cod Fillets is an easy dinner. Made with 2 cod fillets, 1 onion, 1/4 c. butter or margarine (1/2 stick), lemon juice as desired and paprika and parsley flakes (for garnish), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In glass baking pan, slice onion and put in bottom of baking pan.
Slice 1/2 stick of butter in thin slices; place over onions in bottom of baking dish.
Put in cod fillets so they are lying flat.
Sprinkle lemon juice on top of fillets.
Cover with microwave wrap; vent one of the corners to release the steam. Bake on High for 7 minutes if frozen or 4 to 4 1/2 minutes if thawed.
Take out of microwave; turn fillets over and bake on High for 7 minutes if fillet was frozen or 4 to 4 1/2 minutes if fillet was thawed.
Cover again with microwave wrap.
