Meatballs Italiano
Meatballs Italiano is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 2 eggs, lightly beaten, 1 c. water, 1 c. progresso italian-style bread crumbs and 1 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In large bowl combine beef, eggs, water, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, onion, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and pepper.
Measure out 1/4 cup of the mixture, form into a ball.
Roll meatball in remaining bread crumbs to coat.
Repeat with remaining meat mixture and bread crumbs.
Make meatballs, then set aside.
In a large skillet heat oil until hot.
Add meatballs; brown on all sides about 15 minutes.
Drain.
In large saucepan or Dutch oven add spaghetti sauce; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, add the meatballs and simmer covered about 20 minutes.
Stir about every 5 minutes to prevent sticking.
Serve over spaghetti.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
