Manicotti with Four Cheeses
Manicotti With Four Cheeses is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 large onion, minced, 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced, 1/2 c. flour and 4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a saucepan melt butter and saute onion and mushrooms for 5 minutes.
Stir in flour.
Gradually stir in milk.
Stir over low heat until sauce bubbles and thickens.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
Set aside.
Cook manicotti shells according to package directions.
Drain and cover with cold water.
