Liver Italian Style
Liver Italian Style is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. beef liver, thinly sliced, 1/4 c. butter or oleo, 1 c. cooked ham, diced, 1/4 c. chopped onion and 1/2 tsp. sage, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Flour liver and saute until brown.
Remove, then saute onion. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water.
Add to onion, along with flour, to make gravy.
Add sage, parsley, salt and pepper until well blended.
Finally, return liver, along with cooked ham. Simmer all together for approximately 20 minutes.
