Linguine with Clam Sauce
Linguine With Clam Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans minced clams (do not drain), 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley, 1 (1 lb.) box linguine and 1/3 c. olive oil (salad oil), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Slowly heat oil and butter in medium skillet.
Add garlic and saute until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Stir in clam liquid, parsley and salt; bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Add clams; simmer 3 minutes or until heated through.
Serve hot over linguine with garlic bread and salad.
