Lemon Meringue Pie
Lemon Meringue Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 tbsp. cornstarch, 2 c. hot water, 1 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt and 3 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in a pan.
Add 1/2 cup water to sugar mixture. Add rest of water and stir until it boils and thickens.
Pour a little of the hot mixture over eggs and mix. Pour eggs into hot mixture and bring to a boil. Remove from stove. Add lemon rind, juice and butter.
Mix well and pour into baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue. Beat 3 egg whites stiff and slowly add 6 tablespoons sugar.
Pile on pie.
Bake at 350Β° for about 15 minutes.
