Kugelis
Kugelis is an easy dinner. Made with 5 lb. potatoes, 1 medium onion, 5 slices bacon, 5 eggs and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
👨🍳 Instructions
Peel and grate the potatoes on fine side of hand grater, grating a bit of onion between each potato.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cut strips of bacon and fry until crisp.
Pour over potato mixture.
Beat eggs and add to mixture.
Pour into square or oblong pan about 2 to 2 1/2 inches deep.
Bake at 425° for 20 minutes, lowering heat to 375° for another 40 minutes or until nicely browned.
Serve hot with sour cream or applesauce.
