Hungarian Potato Soup
Hungarian Potato Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 lb. potatoes, 1 tbsp. butter, 1 c. chopped onion, 4 c. boiling water and 4 chicken bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Peel potatoes and cut into cubes.
Set aside.
In large saucepan, melt butter.
Add onion and saute 5 minutes.
Add potatoes, water and bouillon.
Cover; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium and cook until potatoes are tender.
Pour contents of saucepan into container of electric blender.
Holding lid on securely, blend until smooth.
Return to saucepan.
Add remaining ingredients.
Heat through.
Makes about 6 cups.
